• She studied English, History and Education at the University of Bochum (RUB). During her studies she worked on a research project about semantics and graduated from university with a thesis on language acquisition. After years of teaching at grammar schools and vocational colleges, she taught English for specific purposes in various training courses and company programmes. As a senior lecturer she has been teaching English at the TH Georg Agricola since 2001.
